Office Clerk / Dispatcher - Salmon Arm

Transdev Canada is hiring a casual Clerk/Dispatcher for our Salmon Arm location.
As a Clerk/Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative tasks to support daily office operations and for scheduling the HandyDART drivers routes.
As a dispatcher :
- Answer client phone calls and schedule/coordinate HandyDART driver movements accordingly.

Use the radio to dispatch drivers efficiently and maintain clear communication.
As a temporary clerk :
- Process new employee files and submit for approval.
- Maintain all employee files according to company policy.
- Process vendor invoices for payment.
- Accounts payable experience.
- Calculate driver/staff payroll and input payroll information into the system.
- Receives and processes applications and schedules interviews.
- Answers the telephone and responds to customer inquiries.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Your Profile:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Word, Excel ,and PowerPoint.
